The Borders and Motifs of our Decorative Names are drawn from various sources including the ancient Celtic Manuscripts of the Book of Kells and the Book of Durrow, along with knotwork designs from the Lindisfarne Gospels and motifs from Celtic stone and metal work. The collage lettering is a form of Uncial script developed directly from Celtic manuscripts of the 6th and 7th Century.

Decorative Names are all individually designed and hand-painted to your instructions in our Scottish West Highland studio: there are five choices of border style, each with a distinctive colour set. Decorative Names are supplied professionally-mounted on high-quality card.

Up to two names and the special date can be included so that the Decorative Name can commemorate a wedding or anniversary of any kind as well as a birth, birthday, Christening, retirement or any other special occasion.
